Choose Civility in Montgomery County is a Countywide initiative convened by Leadership Montgomery that involves multiple partners working together to enhance the quality of life and emphasize the importance of civility for all who live and work in Montgomery County.

The impetus for Choose Civility was a keynote by Dr. P. M. Forni, author of Choosing Civility: The Twenty-Five Rules of Considerate Conduct, at Leadership Montgomery’s 2007 Homecoming.

• Civility on TV The Case for Civility by Dr. Os Guinness will be shown on The Heritage Hour on Montgomery Community Television Comcast Cable Channel 21 in Montgomery County. It's a one hour TV program which complements Dr. Forni's book "Choosing Civility: 25 Rules."
The Case for Civility may be seen on Comcast Cable Channel 21 in Montgomery County at 3 pm Tuesday April 22 and repeated at 6 pm Sunday April 27.
